I’ve been seeing the Benefit They’re Real! Big Sexy Lip Kit everywhere – Instagram, Facebook, even Snapchat, so of course I ended up caving and bought the mini set.
They promise fuller lips thanks to a combined lip-liner & lipstick, with the darker shade defining your lip line.
The mini set includes (from left to right) Flame Game, Pink Thrills, Revved-Up Red & Lusty Rose.
The set offers a nice variety of colours, suitable for day to night. I have very pale skin so I’m not a massive fan of Flame Game with its orangey-red tones but with a nice tan I’m sure I’ll change my mind.
But does it give you those fuller lips you’re desperate for?? Honestly…no, it doesn’t, my lips looked exactly as they would with any other lipstick. The lipstick transfers very easily too, so be prepared to re-apply!
Overall, although the lipsticks didn’t have any effect on the fullness of my lips, I really love the formula (it’s a soft and creamy texture similar to a lip balm) and the colours (most of them) in the set – your staple lipstick colours. I bought my set on offer for £22.05 from lookfantastic – which works out at around £5.50 for each lipstick!! With a price like that you need to try them!
